Bakakeng · Baguio City

Your home in the City of Pines.

Stay. Dine. Celebrate. All in one place.

Chapter one · Why Baguio

First, fall in love with Baguio.

Trade the lowland heat for cool mountain air, pine trees and mornings wrapped in fog. Baguio is the country's favorite escape for a reason: it's slow, scenic, a little nostalgic, and always ready for a sweater.

  • ~1,500mabove sea level, so the air stays refreshingly cool
  • SummerCapital of the Philippines
  • Panagbengathe famous flower festival, every February

Mini-guide

When's the best time to visit?

Honestly? Anytime. But here's what each season feels like.

Dec – Feb

Coolest & crisp

Clear skies, cold nights and peak sweater weather. February brings the Panagbenga Flower Festival, so expect crowds and book early.

Mar – May

Dry & sunny

The classic summer escape, when the lowlands are hottest. Holy Week and long weekends fill up fast.

Jun – Oct

Green & misty

Rainy season: foggy afternoons, lush pines and fewer crowds. Check weather advisories before the drive up.

Nov

Cool & calm

The rains ease off and the cool air returns. It's a sweet spot before the holiday rush.

Planning a long weekend or holiday trip? Message us early, because Baguio gets busy.
